Every child is an artist. -Pablo Picasso
Last week, Year 3 students hosted an art exhibition for their parents that showcased their wide range of work from this year. Little did the parents know when they arrived that they were going to take an unscheduled tour of the world…artistically, that is.
Through their child’s art, the parents took strolls through Claude Monet’s impressionist bridges, visited Paul Klee’s cold cities, dabbled in Pablo Picasso’s dimensional world, stopped and smelled the flowers of Georgia O’Keefe’s boldly subtle work, and finally, admired Andy Warhol’s experimental pop art.
